This outfit might as well have been c/o Gap because it was basically free. Gap has the most ridiculous sales. You are probably thinking, "Is she really wearing those shoes AGAIN?" Okay, I'm sorry but they are seriously the best. I will admit I am on the hunt for some more black heels or wedges, so hopefully I will be able to show you something trendy & NEW very soon. Hope you had the Happiest of Holidays and are as excited about New Years as I am!

Can you wear too many accessories? I hope not. Is it ever inappropriate to wear bows on your toes? So many pressing questions, so little time. Anyway, I thought the best way to brighten this gray day was with an arm party loud enough to serve as the bells on Santa's sleigh. Girls just want to jingle have fun.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! I hope you have a holiday weekend to remember. I am so excited to eat Christmas cookies and spend time with my family! I am hoping Santa brings me a new car, but if not I will settle for anything cheetah.

Last Minute Stocking Stuffers

Rouge Dior Lipcolor, a prefect shade for the holidays, $32. Can be found at most major department stores and Sephora.

 

Nails Inc. Magnetic Nail polish, $16. I have been dying to try this! Maybe it will appear in MY stocking! You will have to head to Sephora for this brand, but other brands could appear at Target or even your local drugstore.

In the Key of Man Repeller

In case you haven't heard, the Man Repeller is engaged! And her birthday was yesterday, so the only appropriate thing to do is celebrate by wearing layers, lots of them. One of the MR's recurring segments involves taking an outfit that would normally excited the male gender and, well, fixing it. You can check out her lessons in layering here and here. In related news, here I am on top of a parking garage doing the same thing for your viewing pleasure.

Meow! This outfit is sassy.. and tight.. and boring. Or perfect as any man would say. I say that this much spandex makes me itch. Let's move on to something that's less "buy me a drink" and more about letting your fashion freak flag fly.

Whew, that was a close call. Nothing like a little flannel to dampen a man's spirits. If your farmer brother isn't around (luckily mine usually is) to loan you his old shirts I suggest Target. I scooped up this little gem for $22!

Throw that mane up into a topknot, pile on the bracelets and for the love of Prada please take off those stilettos. I opted for the lace up booties that SB affectionately calls my "witch shoes." Note: topknot is non-negotiable.

I was so excited when I found this shirt at a thrift store! Plus, the day I went all the shirts were an extra 50% off...WHAT? I swear it was like $1.50. On another note, I am obsessed with these boots. They are so comfortable and practical and I am thinking about getting them in black too. What do you think?

While most of the things a trendy girl has to do involve cocktails and cupcakes, sometimes we actually do have to go to work. Luckily this outfit it works for both work and drinks. The combo of the oversize sweater and sequin skirt actually makes this outfit appropriate for everything, duh. I will admit that at work I wore flats. I love these shoes and while they are comfortable (for 6 inch wedges), they would not be conducive for my job. The flats also make it a little more work appropriate.

For this look I obviously channeled my girl Blair Waldorf. She always approves of a tall heel, a red lip and a sassy attitude headband. Add a pair of patterned fishnets and you're ready for any holiday party.
