Witch Shoes 2.0

Sweatshirt via Nordstrom, Target shorts, BB Dakota vest, vintage clutch, Forever 21 booties  (I also need these.)

Am I wearing fur? Am I wearing shorts? Could my midriff be making a guest appearance at any moment? The answer to all of these questions is yes. What was the weather? I don't want to talk about it.

The good news (oh, there's actually TWO pieces of good news!) is that I still fit into these shorts after what can only be described as a holiday season of Super-Size Me proportions. AND I scored these booties for 30 bucks at Forever 21. Sorry about the all caps overload.

Caped

Collective Concepts dress via Piperlime, Forever 21 cape, Hue tights, Michael Antonio booties, Forever 21 cuffs and clutch, H&M rings

I spun around in 5 inch wedges, just so I could show you the fun things you can do in a cape. Do I really need to say more than that?

Also LB and I apologize for the sporadic posts recently. Regularly stationed programming to return Monday. What can I say...we are just still in the holiday spirit. And by spirit I mean we have been lying around in outfits deemed not acceptable for the public.

Pop of Red

Gap sweater (this color is sold out) and shorts, Hue tights, Michael Antonio shoes (on sale!), Forever 21 bracelets and clutch, Necklace c/o LB

This outfit might as well have been c/o Gap because it was basically free. Gap has the most ridiculous sales. You are probably thinking, "Is she really wearing those shoes AGAIN?" Okay, I'm sorry but they are seriously the best. I will admit I am on the hunt for some more black heels or wedges, so hopefully I will be able to show you something trendy & NEW very soon. Hope you had the Happiest of Holidays and are as excited about New Years as I am!

Day and Nightlife

Guess coat, Forever 21 sweater, Gap skirt & clutch, Urban Outfitters scarf, Hue tights, Michael Antonio booties, Forever 21 bracelet & rings, Fossil watch

While most of the things a trendy girl has to do involve cocktails and cupcakes, sometimes we actually do have to go to work. Luckily this outfit it works for both work and drinks. The combo of the oversize sweater and sequin skirt actually makes this outfit appropriate for everything, duh. I will admit that at work I wore flats. I love these shoes and while they are comfortable (for 6 inch wedges), they would not be conducive for my job. The flats also make it a little more work appropriate.

Details

Lush shirt, Forever 21 pants, Free People necklace, Beyond Retro clutch, Target shoes, H&M rings

I bought this clutch while I was studying abroad in London two summers ago, but I just now started to take full advantage of it. Fun fact: inside the flap it reads, "Genuine faux leather." Wonder where they were going with that? Speaking of faux leather, I'm also obsessed with these riding pants.  There  seem to be so few times when Forever 21 (especially the teeny one in Knoxville) gives me exactly what I want, but this time they delivered all my hopes and dreams for only $18.80. It's the little things, you know? The only problem is they're pull on. Zippers and buttons need not apply.

I'm also currently fascinated by these little stackable rings from H&M. If you go right now you still may be able to snag a few. I picked up two packs of ten two weeks ago in LA, and they haven't left my fingers since.
